Instruction is provided by Sharon (Allswede)
Woolman. Sharon has been training dogs since 1994 with the purchase of
her first dog, a Keeshonden named Bandit. Bandit and Sharon went on to
earn over 25 titles in obedience and agility. After the purchase of a
second Keeshonden, Ariel, Sharon went on to compete in agility and
earned her judging "certifications" for UKC, CKC and AKC agility.
Sharon still judges AKC agility from time to time.
With the purchase of the first
Border Collie Zen, Sharon thought about taking up herding. The
purchase of Sonic resulted in more time spent investigating
herding. The thrill of working with a dog's natural hard-wired
instincts has led to herding as the primary dog sport in the Woolman
household!
Sharon has taken seminars or
private lessons from the following herding instructors (in no
particular order): Jeanne Weaver, Cappy Pruett, Dal Kratzer, Marc
Christopher, Scot Glen, Kelly Murningham, Bruce Fogt, Derek
Scrimgeour, Elvin Kopp and Bobby Dalziel.
Sharon has trained and shown Sonic to the
